Are you a travel agent or a tour operator?
I’m an independent travel advisor affiliated with Fora Travel, a modern host agency that provides access to trusted hotel partners and exclusive perks. I don’t operate group tours or package holidays — instead, I curate personalised trips that reflect your interests, style, and budget.
Do you charge a planning fee?
Most hotel-only bookings are complimentary — you pay the same rate you’d find online, but with added perks.
For complex multi-destination itineraries or custom historic routes, I may charge a small research & design fee. I’ll always be transparent before any work begins.

How do I start planning a trip?
You can begin by filling out my Travel Inquiry Form or emailing me directly at Laura.mckeever@fora.travel. From there, I’ll arrange a short consultation to discuss your travel style, budget, and ideas. Then I’ll present curated options and handle all the bookings once you’re ready.
Do you book flights?
Currently, I focus on accommodation, transfers, activities, and entry tickets for heritage attractions. However, as someone with extensive experience in the airline industry, I’ll happily guide you on flight options or connect you with trusted resources for the best fares.
Can you book castle stays and heritage hotels?
Yes! This is my speciality. From Tudor manor houses to Scottish towers and French châteaux, I work with properties across the UK and Europe that combine history with comfort.
How do payments work?
LorPayments are processed securely via Fora Travel’s booking platform or directly through the hotel. I never store or handle your payment details personally.
What happens if I need to change or cancel my trip?
Each hotel or partner has its own policy — I’ll outline these clearly before you confirm any booking. If changes are needed, I’ll liaise with the property or supplier to minimise penalties wherever possible.
Do you offer destination recommendations?
Yes! Part of my service includes helping you choose the right destination for your travel style. Whether you want a quiet countryside retreat or a grand historic adventure, I’ll provide inspiration and insider tips.
